Proud Supporter of NCOLCTL
The 2011 Walton Award

Each year at the annual meeting of the National Council of Less Commonly Taught Languages, the Walton Award is presented to an individual whose career has been distinguished by selfless service and noteworthy contributions to the fostering of less commonly taught language initiatives. This prestigious award was named after the late A. Ronald Walton whose tireless efforts on behalf of less commonly taught languages are remembered fondly by all who knew him.
This year's Walton Award was presented to Dr. J David Edwards during the Walton Award Banquet held at the NCOLCTL annual conference in Madison, Wisconsin, on Saturday, April 9, 2011.
